Waterproof cover to protect a snowmobile stored outdoors from adverse environmental influences. Also suitable for indoor use. Protects against rain, snow, frost and the sun's rays (harmful UV) as well as contaminants such as dust, bird droppings and tree sap. Waterproof and "breathable" membrane cover that draws moisture out from under the cover.

The unique properties of the multi-layer material ensure that the cover is waterproof, while allowing water vapor to escape from under the cover.  Any moisture that accumulates under the cover will quickly evaporate, preventing rust and mold from forming on the car. The cover is suitable for both temporary and long-term use. The cover can be hand washed at 40 degrees Celsius. The cover is gray, which is extremely practical and looks great. The center of the cover features the manufacturer's name and logo, as well as the name of the material from which it is made, guaranteeing the originality and high quality of the product. The variety of shapes and sizes means that you can choose a cover that fits your car perfectly.

Layers

Material composition: 4 layers

-double-layer SPUNBOND

-functional film membrane

-single-layer SPUNBOND

The top of the cover is waterproof and vapour-permeable. It does not get wet, while wicking moisture away from under the cover. Smooth SPUNBOND on the inside, does not scratch the vehicle.

The sides of the cover are double-layered, made of double-layer SPUNBOND non-woven fabric. The sides of the cover are highly vapour-permeable and very water-resistant.

The safety of our Mobile Garage covers has been confirmed in our long-term tests and in a study conducted by an independent research institute.

-

Representative samples of the material used to manufacture Mobile Garage covers were tested at the BOSMAL Automotive Research and Development Institute. The testing was carried out in accordance with the PN-ISO 4892-2:2013-6 standard, method A, cycle no. 1, consisting of a dry phase during which the samples are exposed to a xenon lamp emitting the full spectrum of sunlight with increased intensity, and a phase of rain exposure. Below is an excerpt from the standard:

BOS

The test was performed on three car body samples with paint coatings made using the same technology and the same paints as those used in the paint coatings of modern cars.

A Mobile Garage membrane was applied to the samples, which were then placed in an ageing chamber with a xenon lamp emitting full-spectrum sunlight with increased intensity and additional rainfall. The temperature in the chamber was raised to 38 degrees to simulate the conditions prevailing on sunny and rainy summer days, when painted surfaces are exposed to the greatest wear and tear.

The report prepared after the test confirms that the body panels covered with a section of the Mobile Garage cover did not undergo any changes. The paint coating remained the same after the test as it was before the test.

Quality and durability were proven by testing

The durability of the tarpaulins is determined by their resistance to sunlight (UV), high temperatures, rain, frost, snow and natural dirt. Our specialists have developed effective methods for testing the resistance of materials to outdoor conditions based on their long-standing environmental tests and test standards PN-EN ISO 4892-3. Every batch of materials from which Kegel-Błażusiak covers are produced is carefully examined in the Atlas UVtest ageing chamber from the USA. Thanks to the quality control of materials and long-term environmental tests, we guarantee our customers several years of the durability of our tarpaulins and covers even in intensive use.

Functionality and security proven by tests

Good tarpaulin covers should not only protect the car from precipitation, pollution and sunlight but should also be safe.  These are our Kegel-Błażusiak covers-tarpaulins. Our specialists carry out long-term tests of our covers-tarpaulins. We carry out tests for the effectiveness of protection of the vehicle by the cover-tarpaulin against weather conditions and water resistance, steam evacuation from under the cover, the safety of the cover for the vehicle paint coating and the effectiveness of fastening the cover on the vehicle in normal and extreme weather conditions. Our company Kegel-Błażusiak produces only those products that pass long-term tests.

1 snowmobile cover

The outer label of the cover shows the cover size and includes a drawing showing the shape and dimensions of the snowmobile the cover is intended for. Please check that you have purchased the right size cover for the snowmobile it will be used on. A well-fitting cover with the drawcord tightened and tied securely can be used safely even in strong winds. The cover is designed to be used on a parked snowmobile and therefore cannot be used when transporting it on an open trailer or other vehicles. The cover does not prevent hidden defects in the paintwork or the effects of damage to the paintwork from becoming visible. A cover that is damaged or soiled on the inside shall not be used.

Do not use the cover on a dirty snowmobile or one that has been treated with a vapour-emitting chemical.

Installation instructions:

Place the cover on a clean and dry snowmobile with the printed side facing outwards. To facilitate the right positioning of the cover on the snowmobile, the label marked “ FRONT” has been sewn into the cover on the front and the label marked “REAR” into the back of the cover (the markings correspond to the front and back of the snowmobile). Cross the drawcords to form the first knot, then tighten the drawcords firmly, directing the forces parallel to the rear edge of the vehicle (see figure 2 on the outer label of the cover). Tie the drawcords and check that the knot does not loosen when the  cord is pulled. If the knot loosens, repeat the process, changing the tying method. There are tie-down straps sewn into the lower edge of the cover, all of which need to be threaded underneath the snowmobile, then the tie-down straps need to be buckled and tightened.

Use the bag in which the cover is packed to store the cover when it is not used. The bag is vapour-permeable; however, the folded cover may not dry out, therefore it is recommended that the cover is stored dry.
